Beyond the launch: How franchise growth is sustained in our community

When exploring a franchise opportunity, most people naturally focus on the beginning. What training is included? How much support will I receive during launch?

They’re important questions. A strong start builds confidence and helps new franchisees settle into our community.

But there’s another question that’s just as important to ask: what happens after that?

In many franchise networks, support is heavily focused on the early stages. Once a franchisee becomes established and confident, attention can shift. But within our network we recognise that success isn’t a finishing line - in many ways it’s where the next stage of growth truly begins.

As franchisees become more experienced, their ambitions and challenges evolve. And without continued support and mentorship, even the most capable business owners can find themselves unsure of the next step.

Supporting growth beyond the early days

Our understanding of this led to the creation of our Highflyers Club, a group designed to support franchisees who are consistently exceeding expectations.

Membership isn’t simply about revenue or performance. Instead, it reflects shared values, commitment and a genuine desire to keep growing.

The group is guided by Tim Morris, Founder of Pinnacle Franchise Growth Experts and Co-Founder of Franchise-HQ, who works closely with our franchisee members to help them navigate growth with clarity and confidence.

The aim isn’t to place pressure on franchisees, but to provide direction, reassurance and space to think bigger about what their business could become.

“I aim to take the fear of failure out of the franchisees’ minds,” Tim said. “Together, we figure out what great looks like for each group member and their business. Then we look at how they reach that goal one step at a time, while still keeping the flexibility they value.”

Listening to families and growing naturally

Our franchisee from Burnham, Hatfield Peverel and Maldon, Gemma, said joining the group was never something she expected so early in her journey. Instead, her growth came naturally through consistency and constantly listening to the mums in her classes.

“I knew there was a Highflyers Club, I just didn’t think it was something I’d be a part of - at least not for quite a while anyway,” Gemma said. “I always aim to listen to what my mums want and try my hardest to make that a reality. Ultimately, they’re the people you’re doing this for.”

Growing with confidence and support

Our franchisee from Braintree, Coggeshall and Halstead, Carla May, was the first franchisee invited to join when the programme launched as a pilot.

While she was initially curious about how external coaching from outside the industry might work, she quickly recognised the value of Tim’s insight and the impact his guidance could have on both her business and her confidence as a leader.

“I’m incredibly grateful for Tim,” Carla said. “He’s a very honest, kind, compassionate and patient man. It’s a privilege to have his expertise, support and guidance - I’ve really valued it. The collaborative nature of the group has been amazing too, because we’re all learning from each other and celebrating one another’s progress along the way.”

Growth that benefits families

Within our network we understand that when franchisees feel supported, stretched and truly valued, that confidence flows outward into their classes and the communities they serve.

Growth’s never been about chasing numbers alone. It’s about developing capable, confident leaders who create calm, welcoming spaces where families can connect and feel supported.
